General Overview

This three-day workshop will serve as an introduction into the energetic anatomy of the body.  Initially, we will work with the breath, guided visualizations, and physical exploration to develop a relationship with the energy systems of the body, and the principles of energetic awareness.  Yogic stretching, strengthening, and possibly some partner work will be included to prepare and warm the body.  Specific exercises will be taught to further develop kinaesthetic awareness, and to nourish, cleanse and fortify the various energetic systems.  From this platform, we will learn to find supported alignment with the breath, move awareness throughout the body, and express from different physical and energetic systems.  More intermediate expressions of these practices lead to alchemy (the art of consciously affecting our physical, mental or emotional state).  Participants will leave feeling relaxed, energized and with a series of tools to explore and maintain a deeper relationship with the self.

• Balancing pumps form   

Wednesday, May 19

• 10 streams introduction   
• Elements forms (earth, fire, air, water)  
• Temple rivers cleanse   
• Back gates introduction   
• “Puh” exercise – rejuvenating the back gates of the body  
• Muduqu’an
